Please read them carefully, because your access to the platform means you agree to be bound by all the following — yes, even the fine print.

1. Overview of Services

VibeCheck.bet provides a matchmaking service between:

• "Vibe Coders" – Non-technical users building apps with AI tools
• "Vibe Checkers" – Experienced developers offering paid services to clean up or validate those builds

We facilitate introductions based on project criteria submitted by the Vibe Coder.

Once matched, the Coder and Checker can communicate directly and choose to engage in a freelance relationship — entirely separate from VibeCheck.bet.

We are not a talent agency. We do not manage projects. We do not mediate disagreements. We are not responsible for any outcomes following an introduction.

2. Payments & Fees

• Vibe Coders pay a one-time $99 fee only after we find one or more matching Vibe Checkers for your project.
• If we don't find a match, you pay nothing.
• If you're unhappy with the matches, we offer a full refund within 7 days — no weird hoops.
• Any payment, contract, scope, or deliverables agreed upon with a Vibe Checker is between you and them.

We don't:

• Take a cut of the dev's work
• Handle escrow
• Process post-intro payments
• Write contracts between you and your Vibe Checker

So yeah, you're the boss of your own project once we make the intro.

3. Platform Conduct

By using VibeCheck.bet, you agree:

• Not to harass, mislead, or catfish other users
• Not to spam, scam, or engage in shady behavior
• Not to reverse-engineer, hack, or mess with our platform
• To act like a decent human being

We reserve the right to suspend or ban any user if the vibes are off — especially if you violate these rules.

4. No Guarantees (Like... At All)

We do our best to match people well, but we make zero guarantees about:

• The quality of work provided by any Vibe Checker
• Whether a project succeeds, ships, or breaks
• How much you'll be charged for development work
• Whether the dev ghosted you after the third DM

You're an adult. Use judgment. Ask questions. Set expectations.

The intro is on us — the rest is all you.

5. Disclaimers

VibeCheck.bet is not liable for any:

• Missed deadlines
• Broken code
• Scope creep
• Payment issues
• Ghosting
• Legal drama between users
• Emotional damage caused by failed projects

Basically: we're the Tinder, not the marriage counselor.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on VibeCheck.bet (designs, branding, copy, etc.) belongs to us.

Any code, ideas, or IP created between a Vibe Coder and Vibe Checker belongs to them as per whatever contract or vibe they agree on.

We're not part of those deals.

7. Termination

We can suspend, restrict, or delete your account at any time if you violate these Terms, act maliciously, or just kill the vibes.

You can also delete your account whenever you want — no weird forms, no exit interview.

8. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms now and then. When we do, we'll post the new ones on the site and maybe even email you if we're feeling generous.

You're responsible for staying updated if you keep using the site.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed under the laws of California.

Legal stuff goes down in our jurisdiction — not yours, not theirs.
